The Plan

San Taovanni · order of business

Nobody builds a city on a promise. This is the order things get done in, not a schedule. Most of what is below is already standing: the rules, the token, the board, the ladder, the burn ledger, and two kinds of job instead of one. What is left is at the bottom, and it says so.

  1. Done · the groundwork

    Casing the block

    • Rules written and published. The scoring, the windows, the settlement, the fee split.
    • Subnet price data running off a full archive node, sampled every minute, the same feed that settles every job.
    • This site up. The Family's wallets named in public before there is anything in them.
    • The Taofather starts talking on X.
Done when the rules are public and the price feed is proven
  2. Done · the token

    $MOB hits the street

    • Launch on LaunchLab, paired against TAO. Fixed supply, minting dead, liquidity locked, 3% of every transfer taken in $MOB and paid out to holders in TAO.
    • The Family buys more than the rules call for at launch to deepen the pool from the first block, then burns the excess back out, and later buys more off the market and burns that too. Over 150,000,000 destroyed so far, with every burn listed, timestamped and reconciled against the chain on The Body Count.
    • Contract address published on this site and on X the second it exists, and nowhere before.
Done. $MOB is live and every address is on the board
  3. Done · the board

    Doors open

    • Connect a wallet with a signature. No deposit, no approval, no contract to trust with your tokens.
    • Call a hit or a protect on any eligible market: all 128 subnets and TAO against the dollar. The books stay open until a day before the reckoning for the Family to ride with you or cross you.
    • Everything settles Sunday at 00:00 UTC. Whoever read it right splits the job's pot, weighted by size and by how far the market moved from their own entry.
    • Dossiers published on every settled job: both sides, both totals, the move, the verdict.
    • First jobs seeded from the Family's own wallet, marked as ours on the board, paying the same 1% fee as anyone else.
    • A ledger of every case ever closed, and standings ranked by what players actually took home.
    Open at board.taofather.com
  4. Done · filling up

    Names on the wall

    • Ranks, from Associate through Soldier, Capo, Consigliere and Underboss to five seats on the Commission. Nobody outranks the Taofather.
    • A name you claim for yourself, printed beside the wallet it belongs to, never instead of it.
    • Reputation that follows you: your record, your standing, your losses, all public.
    • The weekly blessing. One job a week gets the Taofather's mark, pinned to the top of the board and counting double toward the ladder.
    • The pressure board: what the Family thinks about every subnet, next to what the chain says.
Built and live. The ladder fills as jobs settle
  5. Live · since the doors opened

    New business

    • Head to head. Name two subnets and back one to beat the other. Crossing means backing the underdog, and what you are scored on is the gap between them from your own entry, so a pairing can be won in a week where both of them fell. Same fee, same minimum, same reckoning. It turns 129 markets into 8,257 arguments. How it is scored.
    • TAO against the dollar as a callable market in its own right, priced from Kraken, one venue named in the rules and never quietly averaged with another.
    • The Body Count. Every burn since the first one, with its signature, its slot and its reason, reconciled against the chain's own supply figure on every read. If the ledger and the chain ever disagree, the page says so rather than quietly rounding.
    • The reckoning runs itself. Payouts are staged, checked against a dozen named conditions, held for a window and then sent, with every step posted in public. Any failed check stops the whole reckoning, and there is a stop command that beats a release.
    • Entry prices shown on the form before you commit, on both kinds of job, so nobody is guessing at the number their call will be scored from.
All live. Head to head is on the board now
  6. Once the city runs itself

    The long game

    • Families. Crews that ride together, with a standing against other crews.
    • Shorter contracts for people who cannot wait until Sunday.
    • An open feed of every dossier ever settled, for anyone who wants to check the Family's record.
    • A public read on which subnets the streets keep getting right, which is the only research this game was ever going to produce.
Further out. Shape depends on how the city plays
What we will not do. Take custody of your tokens. Hold a stake for you. Promise a return, a listing, a partnership, or a price. Trade against players out of the war chest. Make promises about our own wallets that we cannot keep. The pot is what the players put in it, and nothing more.
